Satara To Shirdi Cabs Round Trip Package

There was an Indian fakir. Being a resident of Shirdi village in Rahata taluka of Ahmednagar district, he is known as Shirdi Saibaba. From here onwards, Baba gave all faith and saburi to Mahamantra. Due to the peace of mind and confidence that Shirdi is coming, Shirdi has become a place of worship for millions of devotees all over the world.

 Shirdi Sai Baba Temple

Shirdi Sai temple has been built over Samadhi of Shri Sai baba during year 1922. The idol of Baba is a marvelous statue carved over a single Italian marble by Late Balaji Vasant Talim . The temple has an assembly hall about 600 devotees at a single time . The first floor of the temple has the pictures depicting the life of the saint Shri Sai baba.

The daily routine of the temple starts at 4 AM a MORNING AARTI till 11 PM again with aarti. In a year Only on three occasions the temple is kept open overnight i.e. on Gurupoornima, Dassera, and Srirama Navmi. Every Thursday and on every festival, a Palakhi with Baba’s photo is taken out to the streets of Shirdi as a festive ritual for devoters to have a darshan. All temple activity at Shirdi revolves around the vast temple complex. Devotees enter the complex through one of four gates.

Places To Visit In Shirdi

Mokh Darshanan

entry into the temple premises and for Mukh Darshan, i.e, darshan of Baba’s face from a distance – from the raised platform. After entering you may freely roam in the temple premises, take Udi (sacred ash, as in Vibhuti) see Abdul Baba’s Samadhi, Tatya’s samadhi, Nanavali’s samadhi, the Sai Baba Museum and walk to Dwarakamayi, but there is no entrance to Lendi Bagh or Baba’s Well.

Samadhi mandhir

Shiridi Sai Baba’s Samadhi Mandir is the place where his sacred body rests. Built with white marble stones and railings around it, all rituals such as Pooja, Abhishek , Aratis and naivedya are performed here . the Samadhi Mandir was owned by famous Sai devotee Shreemant Gopalrao Butti residential of Shirdi and hence also known as ‘Butti Wada’. the temple became the Samadhi Mandir of Baba. His Holy idol of Shiridi Sai baba can be seen next to the Sai mandhir.

Dwarkamai

Dwarkamai is located just entering from the gate of Samadhi Mandir. It beleived that here god sai baba solved problems of the people, cured their sickness and worries. Before Baba’s arrival in Shridhi, Dwarkamai was an old mosque in a bad condition. Baba turned the mosque into Dwarkamai and proved that God is one. Dwarkamai has a shadow of Baba and a big stone on which Baba used to sit. It has two rooms. One contains the chariot which is outside and the second a palkhi. Just in front of the room where the chariot is kept is a small temple is built . A saffron colour flag flies over it. The Dwarkamai has a square stool made of stone, which Baba used for taking a bath. The main attraction of this place is the oil painting of Shri Sai Baba sitting in a carved on wooden idol. It also has the grinding stone and the wooden vessel called Kolamba in which Baba used to keep the Bhiksha brought from the village from romaing place to place.

Chavadi

Sai Baba spent countless precious moments of his life at the Chavadi. Chavadi is traditionally a village meeting place, office, or court and was the place where taxes were collected, village records kept, disputes settled by the village heads, and visiting officials stayed. Chavadi. Soon after, Baba started spending alternate nights at the Chavadi and the place became prominent by his presence and regular offerings of the aarti to honour him. After Baba’s mahasamadhi, the Sansthan acquired the Chavadi, used it for storing books and accommodating pilgrims. The village offices have been relocated and the Chavadi is kept as a devoters to Baba and is open to all.

Khandoba Mandhir

At a distance of 5 mins from Shirdi Bus Stand and 10 mins from Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, Khandoba Mandir is a small temple situated on Ahmednagar – Kopergaon Road in Shirdi. Timing of temple is 5:30am till 11pm. Shri Khandoba Mandir has idols of Khandoba, Banai and Mhalsai. The temple is dedicated to Khandoba, who is the guardian of the town. It is believed that Sai Baba came to Shirdi for a second time with a marriage party and rested bimself under the banyan tree. The Mhalsapati first spotted the nameless fakir and welcomed him to Shirdi by saying ‘Aao Sai’ , which in Marathi means ‘welcome Sai’. It is aslo of the important temples dedicated to Khandoba. The main temple dedicated to the khandoba is located at Jejuri, near Pune. There are two small shrines in the temple premises, one having Sai Baba’s idol and his charan padukas, and another the idol of Lord Khandoba’s horse (shyamsunder). Khandoba deity is belived to be another form of Lord Shiva.

Shirdi Dixit Wada Museum 

Timing of Museum is morning 5am till 10pm There is no entry fee. Dixit Wada Museum located in centre of Sai baba mandhir.one of popular tourist destinations of Shirdi. Shirdi is known as the place of great Saint Said Baba. Apart from the miracles in city Shirdi and beside the temple of Baba there many attractions which grab crowd to admire their beauty. The museum is one of the much attracted place in Shirdi. The museum shows all the belongings of Sai Baba, his robes, footwear and everything which were used by Baba. The museum shows of all pictures of Baba both colored and in Black and White too. the museum has all the things used my baba ranging from his cloths to his chilam !! It also has one thing which was never used by baba and that was palanquins which was submitted in the feets of baba by his devotees but baba never used them ! It was has baba sleepers their are two pair, one fancy one to be used in ceremonies and other one for general use !! It depicts baba’s simple and beautiful life….. All are nearby dwarkamai, chawadi, samashi temple and museum at the walking distance from each other !! This place is must also visit when you visit Shirdi and other places.

Gurusthan

 It is beleived that Sai Baba came to Shirdi in the form of child – He use to seated under a Neem tree. Afterwards This place came to be known as Gurusthan. The Gurusthan was renovated on 30th September, 1941. After sometime temple was built ove there without cutting the tree. There is a small idol in Gurusthan. On a elevated platform of this idol a big portrait of Lord Sai Baba is placed. On one side marble statue of Baba is carved. In front of the portrait is a Shivling and the Nandi idols are seen. Photos of twelve Jyotirlingas are kept in the temple against the wall. The built up of temple is such that branches of the Neem tree have come out through the roof of the temple.on the left side short distance lies Baba’s CHAVADI.

Janglimahajraj Ashram

It is Situated on Shirdi roadway, the ashram is 7km far from Shirdi. kept up by Spiritual Guru Om Gurudev, it is additionally a co-instructive private school for kids. Shani Shingnapur

Shaneshwar Devasthan Shanishingnapur’s legend in Taluk Naivasa of District Ahmednagar is famous, far and wide, as the shrine of countless devotees. The number of its unbelievable miracles are heard in this place. Ahmednagar’s citizens are known as moslty popularly as the place of saints. God Shani occupies a place of fear in the minds of people moslty in India. There is useless terror about God Shani in the minds of people. Unlike other Gods in there is unique fear about Shani dev. Although he is your friend, and not your enemy but still it is a truth. Shingnapur is famous for having house with only door frames no doors.Despite this, officially no theft was reported in this village across many years village The temple is believed to be a “jagrut devasthan”. As it has some miracles meaning that a deity still resides in the temple icon. Villagers believe that god Shani punishes anyone attempting theft around the village.The idol here is “Swayambhu. he shrine for Shani consists of a five and a half feet high black rock siuated on an open-air platform,with compoud around it which symbolizes the god Shani. A Trishula is placed along the side of the image and a Nandi image is on the south side. In front of compound there is a small images of Shiva and Hanuman. Generally, the temple has 30–45,000 visitors a day, on amavasya believed to be the most auspicious day to shani. The village holds a fair in honour of the shani on this day. A bigest festival is held on new moon days that fall on Saturdays. Devotees bathe Lord Shani’s image with water and oil and offer flowers, and udid or black til to him.Other festivals include Shani Jayanti
